Can anyone help me identify this China/glass dish?
Hi, I have this porcelain Candy Dish that is overlaid with opalescent glass. The dish has 4 feet with some gilding on it. there is no mark. I am pretty savvy about porcelain and glass and I have never seen anything like this. Can anyone tell me what type of ware this is? What it is is called and perhaps the approximate decade i.e 20’s, 30’s etc. people made these? It is a square dish in porcelain, but the top has an overlay in glass which goes around as a scalloped rim in opalescent/vaseline glass. The porcelain is decorated in white background and has a series of pink delicate flowers on each corner.
