What’s the best way to clean my tea pot?
I have your basic stainless steel tea pot. There’s tiny bumps on the bottom of the inside where it’s copper. Also, for some reason when you pour the water out, along with it comes tiny black particles which you could compare to carbon. We have filled it up with plain water and shook it out many times and they still keep coming. We have also boiled watered down vinegar in it a few times. Is there an explanation why it is there and why it keeps happening? If so, what can we do about it before we just go buy a new pot.
The water is leaving mineral deposits and the copper is corroding. If the vinegar did not cler it up, I can only suggest a copper cleaner to see if that does it.
